Very nice indded! Hopelessly wrong regarding the scale of course - it is nowhere near the 1:50 it is meant to be (actually closer to 1:40ish, it fits better with the new 1:43 BATMOBILE now available) it is still a very cool concept to make a model out of.
Well worth getting if you see one and have any interest in BAT history. Also, just a smart movie model in its own right too.

Why make a batmobile in one scale. In fact a range of batmobiles in a consistent scale (1/50th) and then make a bat bike, designed to be towed behind one of them, that's in a completely differfent scale? About 1/35th by my estimate.
Yeah, they're meant to be toys. Question, manufacturer: How many of these 50's and 60's retro batmobile products are sold to children? Ah yes: virtualy none. So WHY make them in FIT THE BOX SCALE and then not tell a collector that they are not a consistent scale? What's that you say? All manufacturers do it?
Oh well that's okay then...
